CruiseForth provides the connection between local businesses in East Central Scotland and the cruise industry, particularly those involved with cruise ship calls on the Forth and Tay.
Over 100 cruise calls are made each year at Rosyth, Dundee, South Queensferry, Newhaven and Leith, bringing around 150,000 passengers and crew. Some cruise visits involve a change over of passengers, and they may be looking for overnight hotel accommodation before or after their cruise. If you are a business wanting to understand the opportunities that may exist for you, contact [email protected].
CruiseForth also provides we Welcome Volunteers at each of the ports on the Forth, who are available to provide local information to arriving passengers Our main interest is to promote the many local visitor attractions for those visitors who are looking for something different to do.
On some occasions we come on board ship with maps and local visitor leaflets to provide a Hospitality Desk. At Rosyth, Fife, you will find us in the terminal building.
We can provide information for passengers seeking to make onward travel arrangements, identify travel options into Edinburgh, or elsewhere.
At Rosyth, the volunteers will also provide a courtesy shuttle service to Dunfermline and North Queensferry.
CruiseForth has received supportive grants from Visit Scotland and Scottish Enterprise. Have a look at our website and our App.
