Description

Come to MUSA, winner of the Association of Scottish Visitor Attraction's Best Visitor Experience Award 2016, to discover what they do to ensure their visitors receive the best experience possible.

In 2016 MUSA won the Association of Scottish Visitor Attraction's prestigious Best Visitor Experience Award. Join staff from the museum to find out how they do their very best to offer visitors of all ages, stages and backgrounds the ideal visitor experience.

After receiving a tour of the museum, visitors will hear from: Catherine Cruickshank, Operations Officer, on how the general visitor is made to feel welcome; Alison Hadfield, Learning & Access Curator, who will discuss MUSA's learning programme; and Matt Sheard, Learning & Access Curator, who will share how visitor studies are used to tailor what MUSA offers its audiences.  Bob Downie, Chief Executive of the Royal Yacht Britannia, and Elliot Johnstone, Head of Visitor and Retail Experience at The Royal Yacht Britannia, who led the 2016 judging panel, will also give insights into what makes an excellent visitor experience.
