SHSMG Event: Social Media Career Planning During COVID-19

Date(s): Mon 25 May 20
Location:

Do you use social media to promote Scottish history, heritage, archaeology, museums or archives?

About this Event

Join our free online event to talk with people in similar roles, share your social media insights, ask questions and pick up practical tips.

------------------------

How often do you add new social media stats to your CV? For our May event, Tamsin Russell (@TamsinRussell), Workforce Development Officer at the Museums Association, will be sharing her top career tips. Regardless of your current employment status, it's helpful to keep your documents up-to-date and think about your career development plans.*

After the short presentation, there'll be time for a Q&A and discussion. We'll also be chatting about the pandemic and what it means for people in social media roles.

*Remember that you do not need to spend your time in lockdown working on your CV, covering letter, etc. Your wellbeing is the priority. We'll share our notes in a blog post after the event if you'd like to take a look at a later date.
