- Farm events such as barn weddings, festivals and harvests
- Buying fresh farm produce direct from a farmer by visiting a farm shop
Agritourism has the opportunity for strong economic growth, creating rural jobs and supporting family employment. It supports a sustainable food and tourism sector, lowering food miles and raising the profile of quality Scottish food and drink grown on farms in Scotland.
