In the Footsteps of Kings

In the Footsteps of Kings is a free Augmented Reality App supported by the Heartlands of Fife Local Tourism Association, aimed at kids aged 3-13, with 9 locations around Fife– Aberdour Castle, Lochore Castle, Ravenscraig Castle, Markinch Church, Falkland Palace, Falkland Estate, MacDuff’s Castle, Burntisland, Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries and St Andrews Cathedral. Harnessing the digital channels of social media and a short promotional film, in additional to a range of printed materials, the campaign aims to:

•  Promote the region’s historical attractions

•  Educate youngsters about the history of the region in a fun, interactive way

• Encourage visitors to stay longer and visit more attractions in the region
