Heartlands of Fife Local Tourism Association

The Heartlands of Fife Local Tourism Association consists of hospitality, leisure and tourism businesses within the Heartlands of Fife. The benefits of becoming involved in the Local Tourism Association are numerous. Members can network with other people and organisations in a relaxed and informal manner, discuss existing challenges and examine best practice. Ongoing Local Tourism Association initiatives can help attract visitors and lead to new opportunities for sales and increased business. Through greater commercial interaction and collaboration, Local Tourism Association membership can help businesses grow, increase their exposure and meet their key objectives.

Meetings are held throughout the year and are open to all hospitality leisure and tourism businesses.

Local Tourism Association Aims and Objectives

  1. To develop an active network of visitor businesses in the Heartlands of Fife
  2. To promote and encourage training for tourism businesses
  3. To build effective linkages with other organisations and interest groups in The Heartlands of Fife and whole Fife region
  4. To establish effective linkages with the Welcome to Fife, VisitScotland and other national agencies
  5. To promote the work of the The Heartlands of Fife Local Tourism Association locally, nationally and internationally

Through greater commercial interaction and collaboration, Local Tourism Association membership can help businesses grow, increase their exposure and meet their key objectives.

Heartlands of Fife LTA have been busy working on a new Z card for the area. If you are a tourism business and would like a stock of Z cards please do not hesitate to contact the LTA or collect some from one of the following locations. Cluny Activities (Boxes available if advised in advance), Kingswood Hotel, Burntisland Sands Hotel, The Roasting Project, The Laurel Bank Hotel, O'Connells Bar, The Dean Park Hotel and, Kirkcaldy Galleries.
