Ancestral visit to Crail planned for May 2015

Fri 6 Dec 13

The Visit Crail website has been contacted by members of the Runciman family based in Australia who have traced their family tree to a particular event in their history involving a fishing disaster which took place on 21 January 1765. The Runciman Family are planning to commemorate the event by congregating in Crail, and have chosen May 2015 to visit the village. They are looking to contact any possible descendants of any of the 8 men who perished on that fateful day. More information at: www.visitcrail.wordpress.com

If anyone can help, please contact Susan ([email protected]) or Giselle ([email protected]) with ideas, suggestions or possible leads and we'll pass on your information.
