ASSC Scottish Self-Catering Accommodation Sector Economic Impact Study

Thu 13 Oct 16

The Association of Scotland's Self-Caterers (ASSC) has commissioned Frontline Consultants to carry out an Economic Impact Assessment of the Self-Catering Industry in Scotland.

Formed in 1976, the ASSC represents the interests of Scotland's' self-catering industry. It provides information, help, advice and support; promotes and markets individual businesses and the sector; represents the sector at Government and other levels; maintains and develops a commitment to quality and customer service; and offers a comprehensive package of benefits to its members.

The evaluation will consider the economic impact of all visits made to self-catering providers in Scotland, and will provide an area by area breakdown of this expenditure. It will:

- assess expenditure by property-owners and managers, and visitors in the local economy;
- provide an independent, evidence-based, understanding of the direct and indirect economic impact/contribution of the self-catering sector in Scotland;
- estimate the full-time equivalent jobs supported by the sector

As part of this research we would like you to take 20 minutes to complete this online questionnaire.

All of the information you provide will be kept confidential and the figures in our report will be aggregated and will not be attributable to your business.
