Food and drink producers from throughout Fife are being asked to help realise the New Year resolutions of the Crail Food Festival organising team by joining them at their AGM and public presentation on the Thursday 21st January.
Crail Food Festival, which celebrates its 6th annual event this summer, will be looking back at the success of 2015 when 5,500 visitors flocked to the seaside town to celebrate local food and drink.
Festival sign up and trading opportunities for the 2016 event in June will be discussed throughout the evening.
This years event forms part of the National Events Programme and receives continued financial support from Event Scotland and Fife Council.
The weekend programme is scheduled to include a special launch supper, followed by an indoor and outdoor market, food and drink pavilion, meet the producer workshops, children's activities, a Flavour Of Fife evening dinner, cookery demonstrations and the now famous Sunday lunch at the harbour.
Festival Director, Graham Anderson, who will be looking after the programme explained:
"The AGM and public presentation presents an opportunity to those operating within the food and drink sector in Fife to come along and meet local business owners and residents to help shape the festival content for the benefit of everyone. Trading capacity will be consistent with last year and we are looking at ways of enhancing the quality of our food offering, so now is the time to build new relationships for 2016 "
The planning of another successful event appears to be well underway and everyone is welcome to attend the AGM and presentation in Crail Royal British Legion Hall, Nethergate at 19.30pm.
