Friendly staff and great service are regular comments about Action Zone soft play centre in Leven, and now it's official! Action Zone is the latest business in Fife to achieve WorldHost Recognised Business status after staff undertook specialist training in customer service.
A warm welcome and friendly staff are important in every business but in a busy, action-packed play centre staff also need to work as a team to ensure that little visitors as well as their parents are well looked after.
Michael Morris, owner of Action Zone is delighted with the award:
"We have great facilities here so the children have a fantastic time, but excellent customer service makes all the difference as it keeps bringing families back again and again. I'm very proud of the staff and delighted that the customer service training has added some extra ideas to how we do things. The WorldHost Recognised Business award is definitely something every business should have."
Alistair Bruce, chair of the Fife Tourism Partnership, said:
"Congratulations to everyone at Action Zone on achieving their WorldHost award. The WorldHost customer service programme is internationally recognised as the gold standard and Fife hospitality and tourism businesses are eagerly getting involved. We know that great service can be the difference between a one-time visit or repeat business so it is obvious that keeping the customer happy also keeps business thriving."
The Fife Tourism Partnership is keen for more businesses to get involved in the WorldHost one-day training courses so that Fife can reach its goal of becoming a WorldHost Recognised Destination.
