Mon 16 Dec 13

With the summer season  nearly here a roadshow is headed to the Pittenweem Inn on Tuesday 21st May to show tourism businesses how they can make the most of it.

Organised by the East Neuk local tourist association, the roadshow brings experts from Business Gateway Fife, Visit Scotland and the Fife Tourism Partnership to speak to anyone running a tourism business to discuss what help and support is available.

Bryan Murphy, owner of the Pittenweem Inn, is hosting the event for the local tourist association and said, "Everyone is welcome to come along to pick up some expert tips and advice.  This is a timely opportunity to see how we can all make the most of the busy summer season."

Debbie MacCallum, Fife Tourism Partnership Administrator and owner of Fife Cottages which provides self -catering accommodation around the East Neuk and St Andrews, also said that the association is keen to recruit new members and a chair for the local group to make sure that tourism and business development continues to flourish in the area.  Interested companies can find out more at the roadshow.

The event will run from 2.30 to 7.30pm and visitors are encouraged to drop in and have a chat throughout the day.
