Business success, if not managed properly, can lead to the downfall of the company. Often the profitability of the business can outpace the ability of the business to maintain that success. Sustaining long-term growth is vital by ensuring all aspects of the business grow simultaneously.
With this in mind, Fife Council, Economic Development in partnership with Entrepreneurial Scotland is delighted to host an evening with Chris Gauld, CEO of Spark Energy. Chris will talk about the challenges and lessons of a rapidly scaling business and his plans to maintain growth.
Spark Energy started in 2007 as a small but promising start up company, filling the gap in the utility market to meet the needs of letting agents, landlords and tenants. And now, only 9 years on, is the leading energy supplier for tenants across the UK. Spark has supplied over 350,000 customers so far and was named Scotland's fastest growing private company in 2014 with a turnover of £130m and over 350 staff based at their offices in Selkirk in the Scottish Borders.
Entrepreneurial Scotland will talk about, who they are and what they do, including what members have gained and continue to gain from being part of the Entrepreneurial Scotland network.
There will be one question directed at our guests: Would you like to see more ES events held in Fife ?
Pre-registration will be required, I very much hope that you are available to attend and would be delighted if you could confirm by email accordingly at [email protected].
