Fife Golf tees off to international meet with travel companies

With interest in Fife golf now coming from as far afield as Korea and India, the Fife Golf Partnership is heading off to meet travel companies at an international exhibition in November.

The International Golf Travel Market attracts golf travel buyers and international media from USA, Australia, Scandinavia, Europe and Asia. Liam Barn, Fife Golf Partnership manager said, "Fife is already on the international golf map and interest is growing because of the Open in 2015.  This exhibition is a perfect opportunity to establish more international business links for golf courses and all the associated tourism businesses in Fife."

Fife companies including St Andrews Executive Travel, Fairmont St Andrews, Kingsbarns Golf Links, St Andrews Links, Green Hotel Golf and Leisure Resort and Stay in St Andrews will exhibit with representatives from the Fife Golf Partnership and the Fife Tourism Partnership.  Promotional information for other local accommodation providers and golf courses will be available on the stand, too. The exhibitors will have pre-arranged appointments with buyers and networking sessions to discuss what the area has to offer to golfers and their travelling companions.

The International Golf Travel Market will run from November 11- 14th at the PortAventura Convention Centre in Costa Daurada, Spain.
