On 18th & 19th June 2022 Thirlestane Castle, will host the first ever Sir Jackie Stewart Classic – presented by Rolex. This major new motoring event will showcase the career of three-time Formula One World Champion, Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, featuring a display of is most iconic cars and memorabilia, live motorsport action, an award-winning classic car show, the very best of Scottish food and drink and much much more. The event is in aid of Race Against Dementia; a global charity, founded by Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, driven to raise money to fund breakthrough and innovative research to find a prevention or treatment for Dementia.
We want to raise your attention to a very exciting opportunity to exhibit your business at the Sir Jackie Stewart Classic Event which will be taking place at Thirlestane Castle in the Scottish Borders. This is where you come in… This event will not only showcase one of Scotland’s greatest sportsmen, but it will also showcase the very best Scotland has to offer. We will showcase some of Scotland’s finest food and drink which will ensure visitors tastebuds are well-catered for. There will be no shortage of choice to keep visitors fuelled at the event, with a range of high-quality artisan food and drink vendors all around the show site – offering everything from wood-fired pizzas to freshly-roasted espressos and so much more.. In addition, our ‘Taste of Scotland’ Food & Drink village will feature over 30 food and drink producers showcasing Scotland’s finest fare – meaning our guests will not be short of treats for the journey home. Visitors will be able to enjoy some exclusive retail therapy. We will be looking for high-quality brands to sell at the event both inside our retail marquee, where there will be a selection of 20 retailers, and throughout the paddock where there will be a range of different vendors. Finally, our ‘Makers & Creators of Scotland’ marquee will showcase the work of some of Scotland’s finest arts and crafts men and women – with 30 displays of everything from paintings to pottery. The accent will be firmly on spotlighting a superb range of Scottish products and talent.
