The headlines

  • The first batch of the Moderna vaccine has arrived in Scotland.
  • Secondary school pupils will return to class full-time after the Easter holidays.
  • On vaccine passports, Ms Sturgeon said the government shouldn't “close our minds to it” but also it should not “gloss over the practical and ethical issues that we have to think through properly”.
  • The next review date to confirm changes, including the first phase of the reopening of hospitality will take place on Tuesday 20 April.

No update was given on Scotland’s islands situation. The STA last week issued a media statement on behalf of a number of Scotland's island destination organisations, calling for urgent clarification on reopening. View the statement here
