Scotland Build
23-24 November 2016
SECC, Glasgow

This is the second year of Scotland Build, which appears to be gaining some traction. I am looking at organising a Learning Journey to assess the potential for market development and potentially a Fife Group stand or cluster of small stands showcasing Fife's offering at a future show.

The Scotland Build 2016 exhibition takes place on 23rd and 24th of November in Glasgow's SECC:

• 200+ established exhibitors across 7 zones: Plant Hire & Machinery, Building, Interiors, Materials, Infrastructure, Green Build & Skills Hub.
• 20+ hours of CPD accredited workshops
• Multiple ''Meet The Buyer" opportunities
• Over 100 top level speakers
• Industry focused conferences
• Featuring the Scotland construction awards & comedy evening with Jimmy Carr

Meet The Buyer

During Scotland Build 2016, six exclusive VIP Meet the Buyer sessions will be hosted for exhibitors. Spread over two days, the 90 minute sessions will provide the perfect platform to meet and network with key decision makers and expert industry insiders.

Intelligence Zone

The intelligence zone provides market insight into the latest construction projects at this current moment in time while also providing more opportunity for networking and one-on-one meetings with key players behind them. It is the only opportunity to showcase planning applications and non-planning construction projects. Essentially it is the chance to win contracts and have further affiliation with the industry.

Confirmed 2016 exhibitors include: Saint Gobain Weber, Morgan Sindall, Interserve, Balfour Beatty, Natural Cement, Trad Safety Systems, Siemens, Icopal, SAS, V-360, Chas UK, Sioo Wood, Mace, CIOB, BSRIA, Emco Neo Enviromental, Goose Street Furniture, Vivax Metrotech, Catnic, Tata Steel, Rec Ltd, SJG, Solus Ceramics, Flowcrete, Creagh Concerete, Bio-Rock Sewage, Knauf, Stirling Lloyd, Easy Foundation, Aquapol, Ferguson Menzies, Martec Fire, PTG Treatments, Heckmondwike plus many more.

As part of Fife Council's Economic Development Market Development Programme there is a Learning Journey opportunity at this year's Scotland Build. Fife businesses will visit the Show this year as a learning journey with a view to potentially exhibiting as part of a Fife Group Stand next year, should there be interest.

If you would like to be part of Fife's Learning Journey please contact Dot Smith: [email protected].
