Mid-Fife & Kirkcaldy Local Tourism Association takes a royal look at attracting visitors

Mon 16 Dec 13

After a busy summer tourism organisations and  businesses in the Mid-Fife & Kirkcaldy area are again making time to progress their 'In The Footsteps of Kings' project.

At a meeting in the Bay Hotel, Kinghorn to be held on Tuesday 22nd October, Drew Shedden, chair of the Association, will give an update on a website, interactive kiosks, mobile apps, funding and the next phase of the project.

Drew said, "Since Macbeth, there is a good story that needs to be told about the royalty who have passed through the area. Their story and the steps they made can be a main reason for drawing visitors to Mid Fife".

Organisations, community leaders and business owners in the Mid Fife area who have an interest in getting more visitors through their doors are invited to come along to the Bay Hotel, Pettycur Bay, Kinghorn on Tuesday 22nd October at 7pm to hear about the progress of "In the Footsteps of Kings" and to get involved in this exciting project.
