STA Council Meeting 5 May

The STA Council Meeting took place on 5th May; this week's theme focused on thoughts around phased recovery and the issues and concerns associated with this, particularly from a destination perspective to gain a better understanding of what current community sentiment is towards the recovery of tourism.

The Cabinet Secretary was unable to join the call due to prior diary commitments, however there were government officials on the call to capture the key points.

The Council was also joined by Reuben Aitken from the Scottish Government to update Council members on the £100m Business Support Fund.
