On Wednesday 27 January, VisitScotland welcomed 250 Scottish tourism businesses online to join them for a webinar sharing the results from the recent Scottish Tourism Emergency Response Group (STERG) industry survey.
During November and December 2020, STERG conducted a business survey to look back on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism businesses with a focus on financial support and changes to their operations.
This research provides vital insights into the challenges facing Scottish tourism and will inform the development of a comprehensive five-year plan for the industry, as recommended by the Scottish Tourism Recovery Taskforce.
After full analysis of the survey results, Diane McGregor of Progressive Partnership, the independent research company who administered the research on STERG’s behalf, delivered the research findings during our latest webinar.
If you missed the webinar, a recording of the session along with the final survey results, and a supporting Q&A document are now available for you to access at any time.
Take a look at the presentation prepared by Progressive Partnership, which outlines all the data and results collected within the survey.
