The University of the Highlands and Islands is participating in Tourism360, a project exploring the concept of circular tourism. Based on the circular economy model, this new approach to tourism provides products and services without wasting limited resources but also attempts to ‘leave things better’ by promoting stewardship over local natural and socio-culture resources on which the sector depends.
To develop an effective approach, the team are gathering insights to identify barriers and opportunities for developing and implementing circular tourism via a short survey. The questionnaire is confidential and takes five minutes to complete. For more information and to complete the survey, visit the UHI website here.
