Fife Council are developing recovery plans to help address the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on towns and local shopping centres across Fife.
A vital part of this planning is to support local businesses as our town centres begin to re-open. This short survey is for all businesses and business owners, managers and employees of businesses whose premises are normally open to the public and are based in one of Fife’s town centres.
The answers you provide will help inform how Fife Council manage the town centre safely for all. Businesses and Fife Council need to plan for shoppers and visitors returning in very different ways, with reduced capacity in business premises, queuing outside businesses and the potential for some business to use outdoor space.
This will mean that in some areas Fife Council will need to reduce the amount of road space available for vehicles and, in some cases, full pedestrianisation during fixed hours. Fife Council will take account of different user groups and servicing of businesses in our plans, but some businesses may find they need to make further adjustments. Fife Council appreciate that some of your answers will be based on estimates/guess work.
You can access the survey at https://www.fife.gov.uk/tc-recovery-survey
The survey will close on Monday 6th July.
