#Scotlandhour

Take to Twitter at 9pm on the last Wednesday of every month and share your Scottish images/memories/thoughts.

What is #ScotlandHour?

ScotlandHour is a monthly chat on Twitter. Covering subjects like 'where to stay', 'where to eat', 'what to do in Bonnie Scotland' etc. It's a chance for travellers to chat and plan a visit to Scotland.

When is #ScotlandHour?

ScotlandHour takes place on the last Wednesday of the month, 9pm – 10pm GMT on Twitter.

How do I get involved?

Simply tag your tweets with the hashtag #Scotlandhour and check the ScotlandHour Twitter profile for this month's subject area. Questions can be found on the Scotland Hour website (scotlandhour.com) in advance

Example from scotlandhour.com:

"Q1: Where are your kids' favourite holiday places in Scotland and why? #ScotlandHour.

When you see the question, you reply, with your favourite, maybe:

A1: We love Fife because of the great beaches! #ScotlandHour"

So, every 10 minutes a new question, and 10 minutes to put in your response before we all start answering the next question. From 9:50 pm the remaining 10 minutes of the hour will be available for everyone to add any comments, additional thoughts about the theme etc."

Why would I get involved?

This is a terrific opportunity to network with other Scottish businesses and content creators. It gives you a platform to promote your own product as well as keep up to date with tourism in Scotland

I'm not available during Scotland hour! Can I still get involved?

Don't worry! There are platforms out there which allow you to schedule tweets in advance meaning you can set up your answers in advance! buffer.com, hootsuite.com & tweetdeck.twitter.com are all popular platforms which allow you to schedule your tweets in advance.
